Q. Is it okay to drop my children off at practice, or do I need to stay?
In general, BPW would appreciate it if the parents were available throughout practice in case of injury or extreme weather conditions.  If a parent cannot be present at practice, it is up to each parent to assign another adult (not a coach) to be responsible for their child during practice.

Q. What will be required of me on Game Day?
There are several game day jobs that must be filled by parent volunteers, including snack stand, chains, statistician, spotter, and others.  Parents of cheer and football participants are required to fill these jobs every game day, and the game will be forfeited if there is not a volunteer for each these positions.  If a parent is assigned a game day duty and cannot  make that game, it is his/her responsibility to find another parent within the team to cover that job.

Q. If I have a question or issue, who should I talk to?
Your first point of contact should be your team's Head Coach.  If your issue is with the Head Coach, or your issue is still unresolved, you can escalate the problem to the Football/Cheer Coordinator.  If the matter is still not resolved, you should contact the Board President.  (see BPW Board roster)

Q. Are there other ways for me to get involved?
Yes.  We are always looking for motivated volunteers to help out, so talk to any board member or drop us a note if you would like to become more involved with BPW as a volunteer, coach, or Board Member.
